SMS policy & opt-in

Padma only texts people who call a business we serve and press 1 to ask for a text. Here is exactly how consent works, step by step.

Step 1 · The customer calls the business

The customer chooses to call the business's phone number. Calling alone does not sign anyone up for texts.

Step 2 · The call is missed and they hear this greeting

"Sorry we missed your call at [Business name]. To get a text from us at this number about your call, press 1. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms and privacy are at padmagrowth.com. Or stay on the line to leave a message."

Step 3 · They press 1 to say yes

Pressing 1 is the caller's explicit consent, and we record the keypress and its time. They then hear: "Thanks, you're signed up. We'll text you at this number shortly. You can also leave a message after the tone." Callers who don't press 1 are never texted; they can still leave a voicemail.

Step 4 · They receive one text

The first text identifies the business, says it's an automated assistant, and includes opt-out instructions. Follow-up messages are sent only if the customer replies.

Step 5 · They can stop anytime

Reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. No marketing messages are ever sent.
